My wife and son joined the run organised by Cold Storage (a supermarket). It is a 800m run around Padang (City Hall) in Singapore. The weather was HOT but the mood there were great. Kids and parent alike were looking forward for the run. The estimated participants were more than 5000.
The photography were all done by Panasonic G1 and Olympus 45mm 1.8 lens. Like I mentioned in the last few posts, it's a great combo.

St John's island
1 May 2012, it was a public holiday. Brought my family to one of the southern islands around Singapore. Had a simple pinic and explored the island. The island was historical as in the early years, it was once used as a quarantine centre for immigrants before they are allowed to come to Singapore. Now it is used as a beach gateaway. There is a small detention camp there at this moment. The beach around the island is very peaceful.
Using a EPM-1 and fisheye lens (Dramatic filter), I capture the old jetty on the island. It is not in use anymore.

Uni Friends gathering
In year 1998-2000, I made a decision to further my studies in Scotland, University of Aberdeen. Took on a degree in Mechanical Engineering. The experience during the 2 years there was good. More than 10 years on, the friends I have known are still in contact, and it's great to be able to meet up once a while. Many of us have started a family. Today's gathering were more towards our Indian friend Kunar's farwell dinner as he will be staying in Hongkong with his chinese wife
We had our dinner at a Thai Resturant located at Beach Road, Golden Mile complex. This area is famous for the Thailand's product and food.
All entries are by Olympus Pen Mini with Panasonic 20mm f1.7 lens.
