Riding along the Green Corridor

This Green Corridor was once a railway track route connecting Tanjong Pagar (City) to Woodlands and to Malaysia. It was handed over to Singapore in July 2011. This track was a hit for Singaporeans during that time as many realised that the natural setting surrounding the track was peaceful and natural. Ministers to ordinary Singaporeans came in packs to visit the railway track and hike along the route during last year.

At this moment, the tracks were removed and returned to Malaysia. This route is now open to the public for hiking and cycling. I expore the route and really like this setting. I hope the authorities will keep the route as natural as it is for us.

1) Preserved raliway and station at Bukit Timah

3) One of the nice scenery near Rochester Park (AYer Raya)

4) Another spider
5) One of the metal bridge preserved too
6) Nice scenery between Holland RD and Bukit Timah route
