Fuji XF35mmf1.4 in Pulau Ubin



Challenge myself with just one lens for this outing to our offshore island called Pulau Ubin. Armed with a 35mmf1.4 and a Gorilla Pod, I am off to this photo shoot.

My 12mm, 27mm and 55-200mm were kept at home.

As it is a equivalent of a focal length of 53mm, I have to move backwards or plan my shot. Limiting oneself with just one lens helps me to be more aware with the situation and think harder.

XF35mm f1,4 modifcation for macro

This is one of the well-known lenses from the FujiFilm X-mount lineup. Some call it magical, some call classic feel. It is a useful lens for streets, portraits and even landscapes.

However, today I tried to modify it to be a macro lens. I add a Raynox closeup 250 filters in front and a 10mm extension tube on the back.
