This quiet and nostalgia estate located near our National Stadium at Kallang will be demolished for new development by end of 2016. This is one of the oldest public housing before Singapore independence in 1965. The estate is located beside a river. The low rise structurew and unique design makes the estate special. Over the weekend, there was event for the public & residents where some have lived there for more than 50years. Event items like dance, flea markets , free hair cut for elderly and toddlers were organised on that weekend. The event started with a heavy rain but the rain died down thus the event continued with much success.
